Visual Studio 2010 Architecture Tooling Guidance
Practical guidance for Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate, focused on modeling tools. These release includes common usage scenarios, hands on labs and lessons learnt from the community discussions. The scenarios include understanding and reverse engineering an existing solution or starting a new solution from scratch. These are both common challenges that any dev lead or architect faces. The intent is not to give you an in-depth tour of the product features, but to present you with examples that show how these tools can support you in real world scenarios, and to provide you with practical guidance and checklists. This guidance is focused on practical ways of effectively using Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate and other tools to create a new or revised design as part of application lifecycle management.

In september 2010 komt het boek “DYA|Software – Architectuuraanpak voor bedrijfskritische applicaties” uit.
DYA|Software is de nieuwste telg in de DYA|Suite.
Softwarearchitectuur speelt een belangrijke rol in de vorming van het applicatielandschap. Het applicatielandschap van elke organisatie toont veel overeenkomsten, toch zit de toegevoegde waarde van het landschap in de zaken die uniek zijn. Profielen:
Martin van den Berg is als Service Line Manager Architectuur bij Sogeti Nederland verantwoordelijk voor de dienst- en vakontwikkeling op architectuurgebied. Daarnaast begeleidt hij organisaties als lead enterprise architect bij het professionaliseren van het werken onder architectuur en het implementeren van Service Oriented Architectuur. Hij heeft architectuuropdrachten uitgevoerd bij onder andere ABN AMRO, ASR Nederland, DNB, ING en Shell.
Martin van den Berg is medegrondlegger van en auteur van een drietal boeken over DYA®, de architectuuraanpak van Sogeti, en mede-auteur van “SOA for Profit, A Manager’s Guide to Success with Service Oriented Architecture”. Hij is tevens voorzitter van de Afdeling Architectuur van het NGI, is lid van de “Board of Trustees” van het “Centre for the Advancement of the Enterprise Architecture Profession”, vertegenwoordigt Sogeti bij de Open Group en geeft opleidingen op architectuurgebied bij Pro Education en Delft Top Tech. Hij heeft tal van artikelen gepubliceerd, zit in de Editorial Board van Sogeti’s IT Journal en is een veelgevraagd spreker op seminars.
Robert Deckers is senior softwarearchitect en architectuurconsultant bij Sogeti. Robert is auteur van "DYA|Software, Architectuuraanpak voor bedrijfkritische applicaties" (publicatie september 2010). Hij is 14 jaar werkzaam als architect en is gespecialiseerd in methodieken en modellen. Binnen Sogeti vervult Robert een voortrekkersrol op het gebied van applicatie- en softwarearchitectuur. Zijn kennis en visie samen met zijn levendige persoonlijkheid maken hem tot een inspirator en coach voor architecten binnen Sogeti en haar klanten.
Gerard van der Pol is Developer Technical Specialist bij Microsoft in Nederland. Hij is de product specialist van Visual Studio en Team Foundation Server. In zijn rol is hij gericht op de adoptie van de Microsoft Application Lifecycle Management oplossing bij Nederlandse klanten en partners.

Sogeti TMAP process template certified and ready

Today we finalized the RTM version of our TMAP process template and it will soon be available for free download from the official TMAP.Net site (direct link to download http://eng.tmap.net/Home/archief/957794.jsp).
Certified process template
Sogeti's TMAP template has as the first template passed the new Visual Studio Certified Process Templates Program announced by Microsoft and can therefore use the new Certified process template logo. If you want to know more about the certification program Stephanie Saad Cuthbertson has a post on the details.
